Devon Anderson, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 23, 2012, in LaPlace, Louisiana. Devon, affectionately known as "Dee Dee," was found unresponsive in his residence on Willow Street by his brother. The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office responded to the scene at approximately 6:14 am, where they discovered Devon with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy later confirmed that the cause of death was indeed gunshot wounds.
