In the summer of 2017, a Southeast Washington, D.C. community was shaken by the violent death of 33-year-old Jason Antonio Dale. On the evening of Monday, June 12th, police responded to a report of a shooting in the 500 block of Parkland Place, SE. There, in an alley, they discovered Dale suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
