In the winter afternoon of January 22, 2024, tragedy struck in the 4600 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast Washington, D.C., forever altering the lives of those connected to Tyreek Sheldon Moore. The 18-year-old Black/African American male was inside a stolen Kia sedan, traveling northbound with a juvenile companion.
