On January 22, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the 4600 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast Washington, D.C. The incident took place just before 3:30 p.m. When police officers arrived at the scene, they found 19-year-old Tyreek Moore suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle. Despite immediate medical attention, Moore was pronounced dead at the crime scene.
