On August 25, 2020, Adam Fongyen, a 31-year-old resident of Northwest, Washington, DC, was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 1300 block of Clifton Street, NW, in the Columbia Heights neighborhood. The incident occurred shortly before midnight, and officers from the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District responded to the scene following reports of a shooting.
