In the summer of 2021, a young life was abruptly cut short on a Tuesday afternoon in Washington, D.C. Twenty-year-old Kenneth OKeith Cherry Jr., a Black male, was in the 3800 block of Halley Terrace, SE, on June 29th when he was fatally shot.
