On July 21, 2021, at approximately 12:40 am, Kewionee Wilson, a 28-year-old resident of Oxon Hill, Maryland, was shot in the 1400 block of V Street, Northwest, Washington, DC. Responding to the sounds of gunshots, members of the Third District of the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene to find Wilson suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
