In the early hours of a Thursday morning in Washington, D.C., the life of 19-year-old Adrian Burgess was tragically cut short. On May 25, 2023, at approximately 1:36 a.m., officers from the Seventh District of the Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of Forrester Street, Southwest. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene. Adrian Burgess, a resident of Northwest, D.C., was found suffering from gunshot wounds.
