On a Wednesday afternoon, the 1300 block of Congress Street, Southeast in Washington, D.C., became the scene of a violent altercation that left two people dead, including 25-year-old George Evans, III. The incident, which unfolded on March 31, 2021, also resulted in the death of 28-year-old Keosha Ferguson and injuries to three other individuals.
