In the early morning hours of Sunday, September 25, 2016, the life of 22-year-old Marcellus Thomas was tragically cut short in Washington, D.C. The young man was discovered in the rear of the 400 block of Riggs Road, Northeast, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 2:40 a.m. and opened a homicide investigation into the shooting.
