On a December evening in Washington, D.C., a 30-year-old Black man named Taboris Johnson was fatally shot. The incident occurred on December 6, 2019, in the 2500 block of Sheridan Road, Southeast. Around 7:26 p.m., officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the area.
Upon their arrival, they discovered Johnson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene and transported him to a local hospital.
