On December 6, 2019, Taboris Johnson, a 30-year-old resident of Southeast Washington, DC, was fatally shot in the 2500 block of Sheridan Road, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department received a report of a shooting at approximately 7:26 PM. Upon arrival, officers discovered Johnson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being transported to a local hospital by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Johnson was pronounced dead after all life-saving efforts failed.
