In the early morning hours of July 26, 2020, the sound of gunfire echoed through the 800 block of Chesapeake Street, Southeast Washington, D.C. At approximately 2:49 a.m., members of the Seventh District responded to the reports. Their investigation led them to a vehicle in the 4200 block of 7th Street, SE, in the Congress Heights neighborhood.
