On a late Wednesday evening in the spring of 2024, the life of William Spriggs, Jr., a 35-year-old male, was tragically cut short. At approximately 10:45 pm on May 22nd, in the 4800 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast, in Washington, D.C., Mr. Spriggs was fatally shot. The circumstances surrounding the shooting have led the Metropolitan Police Department to open a homicide investigation into his death.
