On June 11, 2018, Sergio Carcamo, a 45-year-old resident of Salinas, California, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred on the 100 block of Center Street, where Carcamo was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being transported to Natividad Medical Center, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The Salinas Police Department identified Carcamo as the city's ninth homicide victim of the year.
