Daniel Castillo, an 18-year-old from Salinas, California, was tragically murdered on June 8, 2014. Castillo was just days away from graduating from Salinas High School when he was gunned down while walking through La Paz Middle School with a friend. The incident occurred when a group of Sureno gang members spotted Castillo and his friend.
