In the late hours of a Tuesday in August 2021, the life of 21-year-old Eric Shorts Jr. was tragically cut short in Washington, D.C. On August 24th, police responded to a report of a shooting and discovered the young man inside a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. Medical services at the scene could do nothing for him, and he was pronounced dead.
