On the evening of February 7, 2022, at approximately 9:13 pm, 52-year-old Ernest Alonzo Dorsey was fatally shot in the 4200 block of Edson Place, NE, Washington, DC. Responding officers from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) found Dorsey suffering from gunshot wounds and transported him to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
