On January 24, 2014, at approximately 2:42 pm, Marcus Minor, aged 21, was fatally shot in the 1300 block of Stevens Road, SE, Washington, DC. Upon responding to reports of gunfire, officers from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District discovered Minor suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services determined that he showed no signs of life at the scene.
