In the early evening of Friday, May 13, 2022, a sense of unease settled over the 200 block of Upshur Street, Northwest in Washington, D.C. At approximately 5:26 p.m., the sound of gunfire pierced the air, prompting calls to the Metropolitan Police Department. When officers from the Fourth District arrived at the scene, they discovered evidence of a shooting, but no victim was to be found.
