The deceased was identified as 27-year-old Jaquan Bragg, a male resident of Southeast, D.C. When officers from the Fifth District arrived at the scene, they discovered a chaotic situation with three men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical services quickly transported the victims to area hospitals for treatment. Despite all life-saving efforts, Jaquan Bragg succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. A fourth man, also a victim of the shooting, was located separately at a local hospital. The three other victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Branch is handling the ongoing investigation into what has been classified as a homicide.

Investigators are seeking information about a vehicle of interest in connection with the homicide, described as a blue or gray Toyota Rav4 that was last seen without a front tag.
