In the early morning hours of Thursday, November 14, 2024, the life of Dashane Judd, a 31-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short in Washington, D.C. His mother described him as a 'young, golden-hearted Black man.' Around 6:17 a.m., Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Benning Road, Northeast, following a report of an unconscious person.
