In the early evening of a summer night in Washington, D.C., a young man's life was cut short by gunfire. Trevon Williams, a 22-year-old resident of Southeast D.C., was fatally shot on Tuesday, June 9, 2020. The incident took place at approximately 7:41 p.m. in the 1000 block of 15th Street, SE.
