On December 23, 2021, Russell Williams, aged 28, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Washington, DC. The incident occurred in the Washington Highlands neighborhood, specifically on the 4200 block of 4th Street SE. The shooting took place around 1:30 p.m., and it resulted in the deaths of two men, including Russell Williams and 37-year-old Marcus Thomas. Another man, who was also shot, managed to drive himself to a local hospital but remained in critical condition.
