On a tragic Friday evening in Washington, D.C., a community was shaken by the violent death of 30-year-old Fajr Vallejos. On December 2, 2022, at approximately 8:20 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 1700 block of W Street, Southeast. Upon arrival, they discovered Fajr inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the response from DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, she showed no signs of life and was pronounced dead at the scene.
