On the evening of March 20, 2020, a vibrant life was tragically cut short in the Fairlawn neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Lagloria Marquita Brinkley, a 36-year-old Black/African American woman, was shot and killed at approximately 9:54 PM in the 1900 block of 16th Street, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department promptly launched a homicide investigation, seeking assistance from the public to piece together the events of that fatal night.
