On a late Friday night in Southeast Washington, D.C., the life of 19-year-old Nya Howard-Reynolds was tragically cut short. On November 30, 2018, police responded to a call about a shooting at a residence on 57th Place SE. Inside, they found Nya suffering from a gunshot wound. She was rushed to a local hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival. The young woman, who was from Capitol Heights, Maryland, was one of ten people present in the townhouse at the time of the incident.
