In the early hours of a Friday morning in Las Vegas, the life of Arkedra Shamona Taylor, a 43-year-old Black woman, was tragically cut short. On May 24, 2019, at approximately 1:10 a.m., the sound of gunshots echoed through the Cornerstone Crossing Apartments on West Washington Avenue.
