On August 31, 2017, a tragic incident occurred in Las Vegas, Nevada, resulting in the death of 61-year-old Robin Bauer Melendez. The incident took place at a residence located on the 6800 block of Fallona Avenue, near the intersection of North Hollywood and Lake Mead boulevards.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the call was received at approximately 9:10 a.m. reporting a woman who had been shot. Upon arrival, police found Melendez suffering from a single gunshot ...
