On September 6, 1998, Agnes Burkin, aged 70, and her daughter Sharyn, aged 48, were brutally murdered in their Las Vegas home. Firefighters arrived at their residence early in the morning after responding to a house fire, but upon extinguishing the flames, they discovered that both women had been stabbed to death prior to the fire being set. Investigators quickly ruled out the possibility that they had died from the fire, finding multiple points of origin for the blaze, which had been deliberate ...
