In a tragic turn of events on August 15, 2016, a house fire in Las Vegas led to the discovery of a homicide. Firefighters who responded to the blaze found the body of 25-year-old Hispanic female, Carol Lopez, inside the residence. While it initially appeared she may have been a victim of the fire, further investigation revealed a more sinister cause of death.
