Gloria Tapia-Martinez, aged 43, was tragically killed on October 2, 2008, in Las Vegas. After celebrating her 20th work anniversary as a housekeeper at the California Hotel and Casino, she was shot while driving near Lake Mead Boulevard and Nellis Boulevard. Her death left her family, including her children and grandchildren, devastated. Police sought the public's assistance in identifying suspects, but no immediate arrests were made.
