On a tragic autumn evening in Las Vegas, a day meant for celebration turned into one of profound loss for the family of Gloria Tapia. A 43-year-old Hispanic female, Gloria was a dedicated housekeeper, having just marked her 20th anniversary of employment at the California Hotel and Casino on October 2, 2008.
