Gloria Tapia-Martinez, aged 43, was tragically killed on October 2, 2008, in Las Vegas. After celebrating her 20th work anniversary as a housekeeper at the California Hotel and Casino, she was shot while driving near Lake Mead Boulevard and Nellis Boulevard.
