On a tragic day in Las Vegas, September 20, 1978, the lives of 57-year-old June L. Noah, a Caucasian female, and her 38-year-old daughter, Sandra S. Owens, were brutally cut short in what remains a chilling cold case. A concerned neighbor, upon receiving no answer at their front door, peered through a window to a horrific sight: the mother and daughter lying in pools of blood inside their home.
