Brittney Briggs, age 24, was found murdered on February 10, 2017, in her northeast Las Vegas home. She had been strangled to death while her 3-year-old daughter was in the house, and the child later discovered her mother’s body. The killing shocked the community, particularly due to the circumstances of the young child being present at the time of the crime. Brittney’s friends had gone to check on her after she failed to attend a scheduled appointment, only to find the tragic scene.
