On August 10, 2023, 31-year-old Madeline Cervantes was found deceased in the garage of her residence at the Arista Apartment Homes complex near East Starr Avenue and Bermuda Road in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Clark County coroner's office later identified her cause of death as a gunshot wound to the head, ruling it a homicide.
