In a quiet condominium complex in Las Vegas, the life of 62-year-old Guille Gallegos came to a tragic end on June 16, 2021. Concerns for her well-being arose when she did not show up for work, prompting her employer to request a welfare check at her residence in the Tuscano Condominiums on West Sunset Road. What police discovered upon entering the home was a grim and heartbreaking scene.
Inside, they found the body of Guille Gallegos, a female who had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to
the head. Her death was quickly ruled a homicide by the Clark County coroner's office. Alongside her was her 68-year-old husband, Moises Gallegos, who was also deceased.
Investigators from the Metropolitan Police Department pieced together the sequence of events, concluding that the incident was a murder-suicide. It is believed that Moises Gallegos shot and killed his wife before turning the gun on himself. Both were pronounced dead at the scene, bringing a sorrowful conclusion to the search for the missing employee. No other suspects were sought in connection with this case, as law enforcement determined that all individuals involved were accounted for within the home. The investigation did not lead to any arrests, as the sole suspect had taken his own life.
