Yolanda Ayala, a 72-year-old grandmother from Las Vegas, Nevada, met a tragic end on or around January 1, 2021. The investigation into her death led authorities to her grandson, Matthew Ayala, who was living with her at the time.

Matthew Ayala, then 30 years old, was identified as the primary suspect in the murder of his grandmother. According to the arrest report and court records, Matthew Ayala told family members that Yolanda had died in their apartment and was taken to a hospital. How ...
