In a tragic event that unfolded from a long-simmering land dispute, Denver Police Captain William Bohanna lost his life in the line of duty. The incident began when a resident, embroiled in a years-long conflict with his neighbors, escalated the feud to a fatal level by murdering them. When Captain Bohanna and Police Surgeon Frank Dulin responded to the reports of a shooting at the residence, they were met with immediate gunfire from the suspect.
