George Weinberger, 58, male, white, spent the afternoon of June 7, 1974 at his downtown Denver shop, Royale Custom Tailor & Furs, on the 1400 block of Welton Street. When his wife returned, she found him lying unresponsive on the floor and called for help. Officers arrived to discover Weinberger deceased inside the store, the quiet routine of a workday broken by sudden violence.
