On a late summer evening in Denver, Colorado, the life of 29-year-old Mar-Shun Cox was tragically cut short. On September 6, 2020, at approximately 9:35 p.m., Cox was fatally shot outside an apartment complex located in the 1400 block of East 31st Avenue. He was reportedly leaving an apartment building near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Havana Street when he was gunned down in the parking lot. Investigators believe that he was the intended target of the attack.
