In the early morning hours of October 15, 1975, the body of Daniel Linn, a 24-year-old White male, was discovered lying in the street in the 4100 block of Josephine Street in Denver, Colorado. Initially, it appeared as though he may have been pushed from a moving vehicle. Linn, a carpenter by trade, was rushed to a local hospital where it was determined that he had sustained a gunshot wound.
He succumbed to his injuries two days later on October 17, 1975.
Investigators learned that on the day before he was found, Linn had been involved in an argument at the Bluebird Theater on East Colfax Avenue, an establishment he was known to frequent.
