In the cold winter of 1992, the life of a young man, Damon Roberts, was cut short on the streets of Denver, Colorado. A 20-year-old Black male, Roberts was fatally shot on the evening of December 30, 1992. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of East 28th Avenue. After being shot multiple times by unknown individuals, he was rushed to a local hospital, but the severity of his gunshot wounds proved to be fatal.
