On November 5, 1987, 36-year-old Jack Ducey was found deceased in his residence on the 2800 block of West 37th Avenue in Denver, Colorado. His family, concerned after their calls went unanswered and newspapers accumulated on his doorstep, visited his home and discovered one of his dogs dead in the yard and a strong odor emanating from an open window.
