On January 15, 2021, a tragic incident occurred in Red River, New Mexico, resulting in the death of Elisa Garcia-Torres. The event unfolded during a camping trip where Jesus Torres, Elisa's husband, was present along with other family members. The evening took a devastating turn following a brief argument between Jesus and Elisa.
