Inside the establishment, they discovered the body of 55-year-old Henry Lee Lang, a Black male who worked as the night manager and handyman. Lang was found deceased inside a booth, having been fatally shot by an unknown assailant or assailants.
At the time of his death, Henry Lee Lang was a man of 5 feet 11 inches in height and weighed
approximately 190 pounds. His life was abruptly ended by an act of violence that left more questions than answers. The Denver Police Department launched a homicide investigation into his death, but the case has remained unsolved for decades.
