On December 27, 2021, a devastating mass shooting and spree killing occurred in Denver and Lakewood, Colorado, resulting in the deaths of six people, including the perpetrator, and injuring two others. One of the victims was Michael Swinyard, a 67-year-old man who was fatally shot by the suspect, Lyndon James McLeod, also known as Roman McClay.
