In the early morning hours of November 5, 2023, a violent shooting erupted outside the Hell's Lovers Motorcycle Club in Denver's Park Hill neighborhood, leaving two men dead and five others wounded. One of the deceased was Michael David, a 43-year-old male and an Army veteran. The incident, which took place at approximately 3:06 a.m. in the 5500 block of East 33rd Avenue, also claimed the life of 39-year-old Joshua Batts.
