On a winter afternoon in Denver, Colorado, the casual atmosphere of a local pool hall was irrevocably shattered. On January 3, 1983, Thomas Edward Gilson, a 44-year-old Black male, was inside Roy Green's Place at 1616 E. 34th Ave. An unknown assailant entered the establishment and suddenly began shooting at the patrons.
