In the winter of 1999, a shooting shattered the quiet of a southeast Denver neighborhood. On December 14th, officers from the Denver Police Department were dispatched to a residence at 4760 E. Wyoming Place following a report of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered 38-year-old Allen Dale Groves, a White male, suffering from gunshot wounds.
