In the spring of 1985, Leroy Wiley, a 64-year-old Black man, was a familiar face in his Denver community as the owner and operator of Leroy's TV and Electronics store. On the morning of April 11th, his life took a tragic turn when an unknown individual or individuals entered his place of business. The intruder, or intruders, shot Mr. Wiley and quickly fled the scene, leaving him gravely wounded.
