Death by Force

On November 12, 1976, 23-year-old David L. Porter was reported missing in Honolulu, Hawaii. Last seen on November 3, 1976, Porter, an avid bodyboarder, was known to spend much of his time at the beach. His abandoned vehicle, a Volkswagen Beetle, was found later in the month near Mariners Ridge. Although an extensive search was conducted in the surrounding area, no trace of Porter was ever found.
