Samuel Kwarteng, a 20-year-old Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) student, tragically lost his life on April 13, 2017, in Richmond, Virginia. Kwarteng, who was from Alexandria, Virginia, was fatally shot during an altercation that took place off-campus in the Carver neighborhood, specifically on the 1200 block of West Moore Street. The incident occurred around 12:28 a.m. on the front porch of a residence in that area.
